World Pride is coming to town, and Capital Bikeshare (CaBi) is here to help visitors from all over the world celebrate. We’re adding Pride-themed bike wraps that show love for the LGBTQ+ community. And, we’re ready to ride morning, noon, and night so you can get to every parade, DJ set, and cultural event across DC. It’s time to show your Pride! Here’s all you need to know to get there with CaBi.

Find a Bike, Ride, and Dock — now party!

New to using Capital Bikeshare? The CaBi app makes it easy to locate and unlock your ride no matter where you are in the region. Open the CaBi app to find your nearest station, then use your phone’s camera to scan the code between the handlebars of the bike you’d like to ride. Your bike will unlock, and you can get to your next destination! When you’re done with your ride, return the bike to the docking station nearest to your event or hang out by pushing the bike into one of the station docks. That will end your ride, and set the bike up for the next rider. Prefer an ebike? You can park our ebikes at the station, or you can park them at any public bike rack within the service area for an additional $2.

Pride will be all over Metro DC this June, and while you can’t be everywhere at once, you can absolutely get where you’re going, whenever you need to, with Capital Bikeshare. Our bikes are available 24/7 and unlock with the CaBi app, so once you’re set on a destination, there’s no stopping you. Get out there and live your Pride!

Sashay Away with CaBi Valet

With so many new riders using Capital Bikeshare in June, docks could fill up fast near event locations. That’s why, all through Pride month, we’ll host CaBi bike valets at events, so you can have fun on our bikes and worry less about where you’ll park it. If you can’t find an open dock to park your bike, our bike valet staff will take your bike for select events during the dates and times below. It’s just one more way we’re helping you show out for World Pride in DC.
